The Audi S8 combines the long-wheelbase A8 body with a 563-hp 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and performance-focused chassis hardware. Audi quotes a 3.8-second 0–60 mph time, yet the S8 retains the full-size cabin, air suspension and understated appearance expected of the A8 flagship. It is designed as a high-speed luxury sedan rather than a visually aggressive RS model, which gives it a different role from both the A8 L and RS 7.
