BMW XM at a glance
The BMW XM Label is a dedicated BMW M plug-in-hybrid SUV rather than a performance version of an existing X model. Its 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 works with an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed transmission for 738 hp and 738 lb-ft of combined output. Standard M xDrive helps the 6,000-pound-class SUV reach 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, while an electric range of up to roughly 30 miles gives it a limited zero-emission mode that conventional M SUVs do not offer.
