The Chevrolet Blazer EV is a five-seat electric crossover built on GM’s dedicated battery platform rather than an electric conversion of the gasoline Blazer. Its broad range covers everyday front- or all-wheel-drive versions and the high-output SS, so motor layout, output and range vary substantially by trim. The 615-hp Blazer EV SS uses Wide Open Watts performance mode for a GM-estimated 0–60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, while regular versions prioritize efficiency and driving range. A flat cabin floor, up to 59.1 cubic feet of cargo space and available Super Cruise give the Blazer EV a different mission from Chevrolet’s smaller Equinox EV and larger electric trucks.
