ABOUT THE CHRYSLER VOYAGER

Chrysler Voyager at a glance

The Chrysler Voyager is the simpler, value-focused side of Chrysler’s minivan lineup. It uses the familiar 287-hp 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a nine-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, delivering the same basic packaging advantages that make the Pacifica useful without chasing the same luxury positioning. Sliding rear doors, three-row seating and a low cargo floor make everyday family work easier than in a similarly priced SUV. The tradeoff is a shorter equipment list and fewer powertrain choices: there is no all-wheel-drive or plug-in-hybrid version here. That clear mission is also the Voyager’s appeal. It is aimed at buyers who want space, straightforward controls and proven mechanical hardware rather than a long options sheet. In Cariary terms, this is transportation that earns its value through packaging. It may not be the emotional choice, but for school runs, airport trips and large-family duty, its practicality is difficult to dismiss.
