1 TRIMABOUT THE INEOS GRENADIER
The INEOS Grenadier is a deliberately old-school off-roader engineered with modern components. A ladder frame, solid beam axles, permanent four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case and locking differentials place mechanical durability ahead of crossover refinement. U.S. models use a BMW-sourced 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six rated at 282 hp, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic. The cabin mixes physical switches with modern connectivity, and the upright body provides excellent visibility and practical cargo access. On pavement, its steering and ride require more attention than a unibody SUV; off road, that same hardware gives owners confidence and repairability. Cariary sees the Grenadier as a tool with character rather than a luxury SUV dressed for adventure. It is expensive, fuel-hungry and intentionally specialized, but for buyers who actually tow, travel remotely or modify their vehicle, the engineering priorities are refreshingly honest.
