The 2026 Jeep Cherokee begins a new generation after the previous KL model left production. All U.S. trims use a new 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder full-hybrid system with two electric motors, producing 210 hp and 230 lb-ft without plug-in charging. Active Drive I four-wheel drive is standard, and Jeep estimates 37 mpg combined, more than 500 miles of range and up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. The earlier import incorrectly mixed Grand Cherokee rows into this record; those have been removed completely.
