Land Rover Discovery at a glance
The current Land Rover Discovery is the brand's full-size seven-seat family SUV and should not be merged with the smaller Discovery Sport. Its U.S. engine range comprises a 296-hp P300 turbocharged four-cylinder and a 355-hp P360 turbocharged inline-six mild hybrid. Both pair an eight-speed automatic with permanent all-wheel drive, air suspension and a two-speed transfer case; the P360 reaches 60 mph in a manufacturer-quoted 6.2 seconds. Landmark and Tempest editions change specification, not the underlying engine identities.
