The 2026 Mazda CX-70 is a five-seat large crossover based on the same rear-biased platform as the three-row CX-90. Its 3.3-liter turbocharged inline-six mild-hybrid comes in 280-hp and 340-hp calibrations, while the plug-in hybrid combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor for 323 hp. All three use an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive, but the PHEV adds an EPA-estimated electric driving range instead of a third seating row.
