The Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe is the performance-focused six-cylinder member of the new CLE family, which effectively replaces the former C-Class and E-Class coupes. Its turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six uses mild-hybrid assistance and produces about 449 hp in U.S. specification, or 435 PS in some global figures, paired with a nine-speed transmission and variable all-wheel drive. The wide body, rear-wheel steering availability and muscular stance give it more visual presence than the regular CLE. Cariary sees the CLE 53 as a modern grand tourer rather than a direct successor to the old V8 C 63 Coupe. It offers serious speed, technology and everyday usability, but its personality is smoother and more digital. Buyers should compare market specifications carefully, especially output, option packages and whether they value six-cylinder refinement more than the drama of older V8 AMGs.
