The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ applies AMG’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 to the spacious W167 GLE platform. With approximately 612 PS, or 603 hp in U.S. specification, plus mild-hybrid assistance, it delivers supercar-level acceleration while retaining all-wheel-drive security, a high seating position and genuine family usefulness. Cariary sees the GLE 63 S as an exercise in excess that still has a practical argument: one vehicle can handle commuting, long trips and dramatic performance. The price is not only the purchase cost. Fuel consumption, large tires, powerful brakes and complex suspension all require a serious ownership budget. Buyers should also choose between the conventional SUV and the GLE Coupe with clear priorities; the Coupe looks more aggressive, while the SUV is easier to see out of and carries cargo more efficiently. Neither version needs more speed—the decision is about how much compromise accompanies it.
