ABOUT THE NISSAN MURANO

Nissan Murano at a glance

The fourth-generation Nissan Murano replaces the previous V6 and continuously variable transmission with a 241-hp 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder and a conventional nine-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is available, while Nissan’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive adds extra traction without changing the engine output. The redesign keeps the Murano as a two-row midsize crossover rather than stretching it into a three-row family SUV, with emphasis on a quieter cabin, dual 12.3-inch displays and available comfort features such as ventilated and massaging front seats. Nissan does not publish one universal factory 0–60 mph claim for every configuration, so this profile avoids presenting an unsupported acceleration number.
