The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the marque's flagship sedan, built on the aluminum Architecture of Luxury and powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 producing 563 hp. Both Phantom and Phantom Extended send power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic, with the Extended version adding substantially more rear legroom for chauffeur-driven use. Performance is deliberately effortless rather than theatrical: the engine's low-speed torque, air suspension and extensive acoustic isolation are engineered to make speed feel distant from the cabin.
