ABOUT THE TESLA MODEL S

Tesla Model S at a glance

The refreshed Tesla Model S combined a large five-door liftback body with two distinct all-wheel-drive powertrains. The regular dual-motor Model S produced 670 hp and reached 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, while the tri-motor Plaid raised peak output to 1,020 hp and reduced the official sprint to 1.99 seconds. Wheel choices changed range and efficiency but did not create separate mechanical trims, so they are consolidated here. This profile covers the final U.S. configuration before Tesla ended Model S production in 2026.
