The Volvo EX40 is the fully electric counterpart to the XC40’s compact SUV format. The 248-hp Single Motor Extended Range version uses rear-wheel drive and emphasizes range, while the 402-hp Twin Motor adds all-wheel drive and much quicker acceleration. Its conventional upright shape makes the EX40 the more practical electric choice beside the lower-roof EC40.
